Looking for test tracking application
Hello,

We are looking for a software application to keep track of our tests.
Here are the basic requirements:

1. Must be freeware (or very inexpensive - say, less than $100).
2. Must be usable in a collaborative environment.
3. Web based would be nice (but is not a necessity).
4. Must be able to easily add tests in any order and have the
algorithms still function correctly.
5. Must be able to accommodate tests in a matrix (tests entered in
tables).
6. Must be able to calculate percentage of tests run (out of total
tests available), and percentage of tests passed.

The freeware requirement was given to me by management. I realize that
this doesn't leave us with many options. But I told them that I would
try to find something just the same.

This does not have to be an elaborate application. In fact, I wrote
one using an in house spreadsheet that might suit us just fine. But
it's not really set up to be used in a collaborative environment.

I realize we're not working with much here.

Thanks in advance to all that respond.

Eric

I don't have any experience with test tracking application, but Zephyr could be the probable solut
