Did you install using the binary installer or from source through Macports? In first case we are probably faced with some incompatibility between the MacOS version used to compile SWI-Prolog and yours. The SWI-Prolog mailinglist is a more promising place to find support. If this is the setting, installing from source is likely to help. --- Jan
Post Follow-up to this messageI installed it from a .mpkg file from the swi website. It crashes on startup, only saying 'bus error'. I realized I installed the wrong version, the one for os x 10.5, but when I install the right version, the one for 10.4, I still get the same error. How do I remove it to do a clean install> > Well, if you do not tell us what you did, it is hard to tell. Does it > crash at startup, or running some of your code?
