Perhaps INN would do the trick, but from what I gather, it's a XXXXX to install and configure correctly. -- Please send all responses to the relevant news group. I must have had a different filter that was throwing the error. I just tested References: again and it is working. -- Help improve usenet. Kill-file Google Groups. http://improve-usenet.org/

I can't filter on Newsgroups, but you can get the same effect by filtering on Xref. The only significant difference is that group names are separated by spaces instead of commas. -- Barry Margolin, barmar@alum.mit.edu Arlington, MA *** PLEASE don't copy me on replies, I'll read them in the group ***

I have some good news. I just remembered I had a free Tera News account I used a year or so ago, and decided to see if it was still active. It was. I am happy to report that all of my MT-NewsWatcher filters work with the free Tera News account. : ) Tera News free accounts are limited to 50 megabytes of transfers per day. Free accounts that reach that limit are deactivated until the next day. They do offer pay accounts, with increased daily and monthly download limits.
