I'd ask them myself about the headers but it would be interesting to see how they respond to the same wording as you sent to the others. -- Charles

One thing about individual net that would not be a problem for me, but might be a problem for others, is that they don't carry binary newsgroups. -- Charles

Done. We'll see. : ) -- Please send all responses to the relevant news group. E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my very hungry SPAM filter. I do not read posts from Google Groups. No problem for me. I'm not interested in binary posts, other than an occasional curiosity. Most of my news access is purely textual. -- Please send all responses to the relevant news group. Everything (so far) > seems exactly the same to me as before the swap (after rebuilding my > group lists/article numbers of course...) I've no opinion on "evil". I am seeing a loss of functionality that I'm trying to work around. In aprticular, I'm unable to filter on certain headers that I use EXTENSIVELY and I am seeing a huge amount of spam that I KNOW Supernews used to kill at the server. I'll be considering these factors over the next wor so while weighing a switch to individual.net. -- Help improve usenet. Kill-file Google Groups. http://improve-usenet.org/

Is it working for you? I do have filters that look at the References header, and MT-NewsWatcher is not showing the 503 error message when I view subscribed news groups.
