Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.Hello there. Currently, I am using Daisy to define our first document types and XSLT transformations and am beginning to set up a test site. Thanks to the first results, Daisy is beginning to gain more attention in our company. The first breakthrough will be by presenting some help information for a test person outside the firm. I am thinking about separating this user data from our company-internal data by using different repositories. Right now, I do not know where to start. Question: Is it very difficult to set up multiple repositories, all which are served by one Daisy WIKI? Is there a checklist of the things I must mind? Thank you for your helpful information, Valerie Nyre Maas High Tech Software Germany ________________________________________ _______ daisy community mailing list Professional Daisy support: http://outerthought.org/en/services...rt.html mail to: daisy-81qHHgoATdGcMQoVcdA18UB+6BGkLq7r@public.gmane.org list information: http://lists.cocoondev.org/mailman/listinfo/daisy
Post Follow-up to this messageA wiki can only run on a single repository. The opposite is possible, but that is not what you need AFAICT. What you need to do is set up some user roles and configure the ACL to make sure the external user can only access the documents for which he has read access. This document describes access control in Daisy: http://cocoondev.org/daisydocs-2_2/373-cd/19-cd.html (I also recommend you have a look at the admin screens to see how the ACL works) HTH, Karel On Fri, 2008-06-13 at 12:19 +0200, Valerie Nyre wrote: > Hello there. > > Currently, I am using Daisy to define our first document types and XSLT > transformations and am beginning to set up a test site.
