Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.I think you could get away with copying the specific material mentioned (FLOWMATIC etc. - if you could actually identify it and if it were of any use today) but as for the rest you'd certainly be in for some serious head-butting. There is precedent in copyright law for excluding certain types of content from copyright protection - such as, a list of ingredients for a recipe - and it may be possible to argue that the meta-statements are therefore exempt - but I can't afford to try it! If you are faced with two opposing sets of instructions, such as here, logically you can do what you please, but law is not about logic! PL William M.
