Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.I've been working for (quite) a while on porting A+ to Windows. I've now got it to a point where some parts actually work. This is a very early (pre-beta) stage. But I thought there might be some interest in it anyway. This is a 'command line only' version. The GUI is completely disabled. But I have provided a KAPL capable editor to go with it. (Which I intend to eventually adapt to be a front-end for A+) Interested parties can find it at http://www.1wbs1589.info/apluswin.html. This is not a continuation of A flat.

Hi, If you are interested I could send you a copy of my A+ port for Windows using MinGW dated back in 2002. There was some private e-mail discussion about it with Adrian Smith and Stefano Lanzavecchia. The GUI not ported at all, I have used the JTcl approach instead (dynamically loading Tcl into A+ and let's Tcl provide the UI). It handles A+ fonts natively in the console window.
